But I need a UNO that must be programmed via the usual USB, tried burning the Bootloader, but after that the USB still does not work, even tho the download etc, seems to go fine! Here's the text I get after, it does mention a fuse being set/locked.

I have a few Unos/nanos that I have in the past I have programmed via the USBasp programmer. Just getting back into the Arduino thing, after a few years break!
